Shakawath appointed Westin resident manager – The Daily Sun
Recently, Marriott International has appointed Shakawath Hossain as the Resident Manager of The Westin Dhaka (a Marriott International brand).
With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry of Bangladesh, Shakawath is the youngest Bangladeshi to be assigned this role by Marriott International, said a press release.
Before being promoted, he was working as the Director of Operations of The Westin Dhaka. He was also the acting General Manager of the luxury property and under his leadership The Westin Dhaka reached a number of prestigious milestones.
